The chemistry within the band is obvious. Their tight friendship began in middle school. Now into their ripe 20’s they have been playing their style of laid back, bluesy funky sounding music playing for over 15 years together.

Let Looseleaf be your next breath of fresh air.

We’re a no-frills Philly group built on a love of tight vocal harmony and music from the 60’s & 70’s. Our accessible brand of bluesy-funky indie rock is renowned in Philadelphia for its ability to make people cut rugs, shake hooves, stomp feet, and swing booty’s.

Over 10 years ago, Looseleaf started as a trio led by childhood friends Rhett Tierney on guitar and lead vocals (pictured center-right) and Andrew Napoli on bass (left). Today, the band is a four piece with Kyle Sparkman (right) on lead guitar, and Ryan Lutz (center-left) on drums.

With 2 albums and a live EP under their belt, Looseleaf debuted their latest single Mixed Emotions on Quincy Harris’s popular Q show on Philadelphia’s Fox network. The band is currently in the studio working on 6 new tracks.
